Yale Peabody Museum David Friend Hall app for iPhone and iPad

The Yale Peabody Museum’s David Friend Hall application was developed by Yale students to engage Peabody visitors in a more in-depth exploration of the gallery’s incredible specimens. From delicate crystals to a one-ton quartz, David Friend Hall includes more than 150 premier mineral and gem specimens rarely seen by the public—gathered together from significant collections across the United States. Located adjacent the Peabody’s Hall of Minerals, Earth and Space, the hall further advances the museum’s mission to communicate one’s understanding of the history of Earth and its cultures.
